Setting the Properties of an Independent Subprocess

  This topic describes the procedure to set the properties of an Independent Subprocess.

Before you begin this task:
You should have a parent business process model in which the Independent Subprocess is available.

You may perform this task based on your business needs.

  1. From the Workspace Documents, click <project> > <business process model>. The business process model appears.
  2. Double-click the Subprocess to set its properties. Alternatively, right-click the Independent Subprocess and select Properties. The Properties - Independent Sub Process pane appears.
  3. Click the following tab views and enter necessary details forthe Independent Subprocess.
    1. General tab
    2. Messages tab
    3. Monitoring tab
    4. Annotation tab
  4. Click on business process toolbar.

You have successfully set the properties of an Independent Subprocess.

Note:
The message structure that is defined in the Independent Subprocess for a Send Message Activity need not be created in the parent process because it is be picked directly from the Independent Subprocess.
